Getting into UF with these credentials

Hello,
I'm a senior.. taking the SAT on November 5. My stats really arent that phenomenoal but they are: (note i am dual enrolled at the community college so ive taken many college level courses and got them out of the way - uh, enc1101/enc1102, coll alg, college trig, precal, calculus )

3.7 GPA college
3.5 weighted GPA highschool

only extracurric = church + volunteering at local retirement center + computer club

Hopefully I have a fairly well chance of being accepted.. I just applied to tonight

They pay far more attention to SATs than to ECs, so one can't hazard a guess about your acceptance without knowing your SATs.

If you get a good SAT score, you have a clean shot.

actually, i went on their tour and they said SATs only count for about 10% of their choice.
don't believe me?
my friend kelly got in with a 1050, not applying for the summer session or ED. she had TONS of ECs, though.

UF also doesn't like a lot of dual stuff.- if you've only taken those 6 classes, maybe itll be okay. but are you fully dual enrolled?
the same girl up there^ had taken about as many dual classes as you.

i'm in the same boat as you
i just submitted my application about a week ago...ugh.

good luck!

According to US News, high school gpa is "very important", and their average h.s. gpa is a 3.9. That's probably weighted according to UF's criteria, which you can find on their website. I think that they also throw out courses like PE.

SAT is "important" and the average SAT scores are:
SAT I scores (25/75 percentile):
Verbal: 570 – 670
*Math: 590 – 690
*
**Combined: 1160 – 1360

Class rank is "important." 81% of freshmen were in the top 10% of their h.s. class.

For financial aid, only 38% of those who applied for and needed need-based aid had their need fully met. That excludes PLUS and private loans. The average amount of students' need that was met was 87%.
