I have a 2.5 GPA and a 2000 SAT - 720 Math, 630 CR, 650 Writing. What are my chances of being admitted to the University at Buffalo? What about other SUNYs? I’m also Hispanic.

Even though you have a very low GPA, I believe your SAT score is sufficient .
How are your ECs? If theyre anywhere close to decent (2 sports/ 2 clubs with good commitment) and decent letter of recs/ Id say you have a solid shot.

And mistake me if Im wrong, but I think being a NYS resident (which I assume you are) can be a hook to for SUNYs.
Other SUNYS? Hmm… again, SUNYs arent exactly competitive (at least not the regular admission programs), so yeah, I would say you have a decent chance. Maybe Bing and Geneseo might be high matches, but with solid recs and essays, you can probably score those as well. Cant hurt to try. Common apps are free if you’re in the free lunch program (like me

Try your best to get your GPA up by next year ofcourse.
Also look into CUNYs and community colleges. I beleie you can guarantee transfer into any SUNY/CUNY after one year in aany school in the CUNY/SUNY system. DOnt take my word for it though, look into it
