Getting into Vanderbilt

Hello, I was wondering what I should do to get into Vanderbilt. I go to a school in Northern VA.
Freshman GPA: 3.3
Sophomore GPA: 3.7 PSAT: 172
Junior GPA: Predicted 3.9-4.1

I am heavily involved in extracurriculars and have started two clubs. I'm a girl scout, nationally ranked sailor, and went to the HOBY Leadership conference.

What do you expect my chances of getting in are? I know it's a reach; what can I do to better my chances?

Take rigorous classes and do well on them. In addition, prepare for the sat and act and do well. Get to know your teachers for recs and also write good essays. Hope this helped.

You should prepare for the SAT and get a nice score in the 2000s. Definitley keep your GPA steady, take some APs and maybe join some more EC’s? Good luck!

Junior year you have to be in at least 3 AP’s. Vanderbilt is called the Harvard of the south. Its an elite school, you have to have a GPA over 4.0 and an SAT at least over 2000.
