I read a lot about how people get into TAMU under General Studies. I'm wondering why they would do that, and what it takes to actually get into your college? Specially, the Engineering college, which I'm going into.

They put you in general studies if you don't make it into your first 2 choices because your grades werent high enough or whatever. I am not sure what it takes to get into the engineering college but I am assuming since its engineering the most important thing is good grades.

I got accepted into engineering college.

But I don't know what it takes to get into engineering.

Yucca, what'd you make on SAT or ACT? And, what math and science level are you at?

I got into the engineering college (EE) too. I made a 31 on my ACT and a 2210 (math 780) on my SAT. I'm talking Calculus BC AP and Biology II AP.

I hope you get in!

I applied as a transfer student. I did only submit my college transcript.
My GPA is only 3.3.
That's all.
