getting low on time...and freaking out

I am in desperate need of a more match/safety school to apply to...so far i have applied to UMichigan (closest thing to a safety i have, but not close enough) and UChicago and i am presently working on apps to Swarthmore, Yale, Northwestern, and Dartmouth.

Basically, I prefer smaller schools (though preferably not less than 4000 undergrads - Swarthmore is an exception) and schools with beautiful campuses and intellectual atmospheres, located in the midwest or east, and with good study abroad options...i want to major in physics and philosophy.

Can you suggest some easier-to-get-into schools that fit these criteria and are somewhat similar to the others i am applying to?
(they don't have to be REALLY easy to get into, just a little easier, like 50-60% acceptance)
Thanks!

I am having problems choosing colleges too. I live in NH, but I visited some colleges in Florida. I found Rollins, which I LOVE but my dad wants me to stay closer by now :(. You should really look at Rollins, it is really nice with a good location and a great atmosphere.

Bates
Centre
Dickinson
Franklin and Marshall
Grinnell
Haverford
Kalamazoo
Lawrence
Macalester
Reed
Rhodes
Wake Forest
Wheaton
Whitman

Georgetown
U of Rochester
RPI
Bucknell
Lehigh

anybody know much about Oberlin? or Swarthmore or Wesleyan?

All three are good for physics and philosophy (especially Swat), but I'm not sure they're safeties. They definitely have the beautiful campus and intellectual atmosphere, if that's what you're asking.

Maybe Carleton? (intellectual atmosphere, but high selectivity)

match or safer: Colgate, Trinity, Union, Syracuse, or U Rochester

I know some artsy LACS can favor a physics applicant because they get a lot of humanities applicants (Wesleyan, Oberlin, Bard)

For another spin, if you are male-- what about a school like Vassar or Conn College that is seeking a better male/female balance? Vassar's campus is absolutely gorgeous.

Bucknell, Holy Cross, and Colgate. Of the 3 Holy Cross has best location-1 hour from Boston.

Wesleyan is like a bigger version of Swarthmore; there are a few more campus sub-cultures (jocks and performing artists, are just two examples) and a few more academic specialties (Film, Ethnomusicology and Astrophysics, for example), but, very much the same slightly left-of-center, intellectual-discussions-at-breakfast sort of place.

Swarthmore does have an Astrophysics concentration; what it doesn't have is much in the way of Neuroscience.
