<p>I will be a sophmore this fall, and am in great need for scholarship money to bring my aspirations of a great school to life.
I would like to begin preparing now for the next couple of years to be as productive as possible in earning this money, so I am looking for help finding quality engines and any other online sources, as well as things to make sure do in the school year to find opportunities. <p>You can start by searching for schools that give merit aid, the largest source of scholarships. There’s a sticky at the top of this forum, and you can also use the search function here. A well-constructed college list gives you the best chance for scholarships and choices.</p>
<p>For other scholarships, look local, statewide, and finally national for those that seem to match your interests/stats/unique qualifications. There are many search engines, and you can also search here. Fastweb allows you to enter a profile and will give you a ton of results, not all will actually meet your needs.</p>
<p>Also, look at the some of the threads here, and you’ll find a number of names of scholarships, such as Gates Millenium Scholar, Coca-Cola, and so on. Lots of companies offer scholarships.</p>
<p>Ask your counselor if he/she knows of any. Some schools will even have Scholarship Boards with several posted in the office.</p>
