Getting professor to change exam date?

So I just realized that my organic chemistry professor has an exam scheduled for the morning after the UNC-Duke basketball game in February! Ugh! Anyway...do you guys have any suggestions for me to tactfully point that out to my professor without, obviously, sounding lazy and over the top; and possibly see if he'll change the exam date?

I know I should just suck it up...but it keeps grating on me that I won't be able to watch the game, that I won't be able to rush franklin if we win, etc if I have an exam the next morning....I know I could study and be ready for it several days in advance...but last time I stayed out late because of a basketball game the night before the exam (the MSU game in December) I ended up doing very poorly...

I would just go and ask him and see if he would be willing to poll the class to see if the majority would like to change the date. Professors are usually pretty flexible about things like that. I remember when I had Austel for Orgo that he would often schedule games and review sessions around basketball games. Of course we has kind of a fanatic…

Hahahaha Todd’s the man. I had him for Chem 101, he went to Undergrad and Grad School at UNC so he knows what’s up with the students
