Getting pumped for PSAT scores.

oh fool--i dont even remember what the question was

ya, tiles f'ed me up too. so arggg!!! i know i messed up some others in math...i'm humiliated

what do u think is maximum wrong to get at least over 650 in CR section? i know i already skipped 1....... and what would 3 wrong be in writing section, and one skip and one wrong in math? ugh can i make 2180 for NY cutoff???

Oh...stupid PSATs...

ughh i remember the tiles question but i have no idea what i put cause i was going between two of the answers...

that must be from the saturday version.

I really hope that the math curve will be a bit more generous this year (at least generous compare to last year's scale). I thought the math portion was a bit harder this year... so I'm crossing my fingers.

And the CR section will be the death of me.

I...personally think the curve won't change for the most part.

This is putting into consideration that the Reading, Writing section were considerably easier for me this year (whereas I got 66, 58 last year or around that) due to myself being more well-read.

The math...wasn't any bit harder than last year, I believe. In 80 80 curve is impossible for math. Don't count on it. I think an 80 76 is a safe guess, anything above that would be generous to me.

So...yeah, here's to hoping a 230+

P.S. I'm talking about Saturday's PSAT.

So the tiles question- the dimensions of a room was 15 by 24. And it asked you how many tiles could fit into it; it gave you a square that was made up of 4 2by1 tiles and 1 1by1 tile.

oh i remember that question i just forget what answer i put. hopefully i put the right one because im already mad i left 1 or 2 blank.

I didn't take the Saturday test, but the answer to that problem would be 200.

((1524)/(42+1))*5 = 200

Yeah, a lot of people forgot to realize that every square was made up of 5 tiles, so they put 40.

Based on what I have read :

1) Wed PSAT - harder test, easier curve =)
2) Sat PSAT - easier test, harder curve =(

wha do you think???

wednesday PSAT was a piece of cake. (i'm kidding by the way...i just hear this a lot on CC)

i missed one math grid-in question. the one about trading candies...
oh my goodness I still can't believe I did that. grr

2) Sat PSAT - easier test, harder curve =(

The CR + Writing is easier; math is harder.

has anyone had the psat discussion saved as their favorites that they can post up!!!!

damn CT and its 222+ cutoff.... : /

so amen dude...CT is freaking impossible!!!

wait wait wait... is it true that the scores are in??? Do some school have theM???

No, i don't think so.

The mailing of scores doesn't start 'til Dec. 5.
