Getting really nervous...

My story...

Top 28%, 93.5 GPA
1140 SAT (Math and English) 1670 total
1170/1830 if they superscored (which I understand they don't)
25 ACT 26English 25Math 27Reading 23Science
Lots of extracurriculars and leadership
Distinguished Achievement Graduation Plan--lots of AP classes
Good letters of recommendation
Three good essays

Do I have any shot at general studies?
And if not.....a decent chance at Blinn Team or Gateway?

Anyone with similar stats been accepted? Rejected?

just going to have to wait it out. A guy from our hometown didn’t get accepted there until a few day before graduation (end of May) last year…he’s already accepted blinn team and all.

my “superscore” (if they allowed them) would be 1730, not 1830…That was a typo!

Other forum members: Please reply!

tamuhopeful - they do not superscore
your sat/act/class ranking are not the best, but A&M will look at other things.
You graduated on the distinguished achievement plan - shows you did not take the easy route.
You have leadership - A&M likes this - what exactly are your leadership roles?
essays/letters of rec - these may be in consideration if deciding between you and someone else
Most importantly for someone with average SAT/ACT/Class rank - what did you do to show A&M you are interested in them? Did you attend any of the activities A&M has for high school Jr’s & Sr’s? Did you take an official campus tour? Did you take a College tour of your first & second choice majors? Have you been to the Prospective Student Center in your area?
