Getting rec from F.L. Professor

I'm a freshman planning a sophomore transfer and since most colleges require you 2 recommendations from professors, I didn't luck out because I'm taking only 4 courses (two of them 5 hours each). Two of the courses are taught by Professors and the other two by TAs. I know I'm getting one from my econ professor but the other is a French professor who is a native African and does not speak english fluently. Should I ask my French professor or opt for a TA rec instead?

I'd personally ask the TA -- a badly written reccomendation would do you no good.

T.A. ones are FINE, i called up, at a large university, there is no way ur gonna know a professor.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I should have also added some additional details. The classes I'm taking with the TAs are obviously introductory classes whereas my French and Econ are advanced level(thus a smaller class) so we have much more interaction with the professors and they actually know my name. French (along with econ) is a possible subject of major/minor for me, so that's why I was at a dilemma.
