Getting Rescinded? - UCs

My GPA through 10th and 11th grade was about a 3.8 UC unweighted. My first semester senior year was a 3.0 UC unweighted with 1 A, 2 Bs and 1 C.

I've gotten official acceptances from UCLA and UCI so far with an unofficial one from UCSB.

I know I've met the minimum requirements, but is there a chance I can get rescinded for a drop in my grades? Should I let them know now, or is not a worry?

Don’t worry. Just study harder and get mostly As and a few Bs this semester. You won’t even get a letter, but if you do, it will be a warning or maybe they will tell you your first year will be probationary - I doubt it though.

Definitely working on that, I still have about 2 months to go, but I’m looking at 2 As 1 B and 1 C this semester so far :\

I do have 1 more A in both semesters, but it’s not a UC course.

Taking only 5 classes (including one that UCs don’t want to hear about) will make you look like you chose an easy senior year, something that colleges won’t want to see. Dropping grades when you only have 5 classes to study for also looks bad.

The good news is that UCs will only rescind you if your grades drop dramatically. If your GPA stays above a 3, then I don’t think there’s any danger of being rescinded.

Don’t the admission letters have conditions in them? My recollection is UCLA says no grade below a C and an unweighted B average senior year, but I could be mistaken here.
