I have a D- in physics, but I'm a fine art major at Roski for USC. I was also diagnosed with depression this semester. Considering that the class has nothing to do with art and that I had personal problems, does this decrease my chance of getting rescinded? Will I get rescinded?

it appears to me that the only way to truly find out is to call them. however, with a medical condition like that i’d be surprised if they weren’t very forgiving as long as you explained your situation. i’d highly recommend you talking to them about the situation instead of them just finding out from your transcript in a month.

Should I keep it relatively anonymous? Like a general inquiry kind of thing?

Why? They’re going to find out anyway, when they get your transcript.

Not getting rescinded! I called admissions on Friday and they said that since only one of my grades dropped, it wasn’t really a significant drop in my whole GPA and therefore I probably wouldn’t get rescinded.

i kinda have multiple grade drops…like no d’s but a couple of c’s that make my gpa below a 3.0 unweighted…should i call and ask about that?
