Hi, I'm Japanese and I was accepted to FSU for Summer term. FSU is my number one school, but I am afraid that I might get rescinded.

I got a D in what is called "Math C" in Japan. Basically we did matrix, linear transformation, parameter, polar equation, composite function, limit of a sequence, infinite seriese, differentialble, mean value theorem, maximal/local maximum, definite integral, etc. This class is not AP since we don't have anything like that.

We have three semesters in Japan which starts from April/August/January. When applying to FSU, I submitted my transcripts until my first semester of senior year. I got a C on "Math C" for my first semester. Although you may think that I still have one more chance to improve that D, the fact is that my grade for last semester will be the same grade as what I got in second semester. It's because Japanese university entrance exams starts from Jan. to Mar. so senior's won't be having any high school exams.

The reason why I dropped my grades is because I will not be using Math C for my entrance exams. High schools don't care much about GPA since most students only need to score good on their one chance entrance exams to get into uni. Although I will be going to FSU if I am not getting rescinded, I still am going to take uni exams. As long as we don't get an F, we don't need to study much for subjects we aren't going to use.

I am freaking out already since FSU is my dream school. Could someone tell me whether I have a high chance being rescinded? I'm really sorry for making this so long. Thank you!
