I already got into UChicago, USC, Boston College, and the University of Florida, and waiting to hear from Stanford and Harvard. I had gotten all As 9-11th grade.

This year I have a total of 9 classes, 6 of which are APs, 3 are honors. In fall one semester classes, I already have 3 As. So that means no matter what grades I get this quarter, I have at least 3 As on my final transcript. If my final senior year transcript is 3 As and 6 B/B+'s, do I risk getting my admission rescinded from any of the schools I mentioned?

It might depend on which classes you got the Bs in-I am just conjucturing, I don't know it for a fact, however. Besides, all anyone can ask is for your best, and if bs are your best, then ...

Most schools don't rescinded unless you get all Ds and Fs. Maybe if you had some Cs you'd be at risk on eing put on acemdemic probation (I know one person this happened to: they had to get a certian GPA in Freshman year), but a couple of Bs shouldn't be a problem.

Chicago will not rescind unless you are convicted of a felony or are unable to graduate high school. Look at your freaking acceptance letter. It says something like "We accepted you not based on your numbers, but on your words and actions" which pretty much means you are more than a GPA to them and they don't really care how much you drop so long as you dont fail everything.

Yeah chill...stop worrying. Once again, D's and F's. If they started rescinding offers and scholarships for B's each school would lose 25% of their class!! In actuallity the schools want to avoid rescinding as much as possible.

thanks bananainpyjamas. venkat, I'm surprised people would consider a question from a student worrying about 3 years of hardwork going down the drain because of one strenuous semester stupid.
