getting rescinded

so it's senior year and inevitably, grades are somewhat lower. i had 1 B 9th, 2 Bs 10th, and 3 Bs 11th. Now, 4 of these were english and the rest of my app clearly shows that humanities is not my strong point. For 12th, I'm only taking humanities courses, since i maxed out math and science, but I'm also taking 3 math classes at a university (Stanford EPGY) so hopefully that makes up for it.

But my problem now is that i might be getting a lot of B's in those humanities courses (2 of the 5 I'm taking) and even a C in English.

if i get accepted to Cal, what would happen if my grades tip like that. how low can my grades be without getting rescinded?

i'm pretty sure you can only get rescinded (grade-wise) is you fail a course.

Ya, they will only rescind(sp?) if you get a D or F in a class.

what the people above me said are true.

but also remember that you cant just pull off straight C's. i think there was a requirement for a 3.0 gpa?

average of a 3.0 unweighted GPA for your entire Senior year.

so this is disregards the context right? you could have been a perfect 4.0 student before and suddenly get a 3.0 all of senior year right?

and im hearing that theres a minimum number of C's that you can get...

Stop worrying, you're not even admitted yet.

^Hahahahaha

you just have to have an equal number of Cs and As for each semester so you end up with above a 3.0. They don't calculate plusses and minuses in your gpa so don't worry about that.

don't worr y.

tastybeef, it's just that Berkeley was basically my safety school (i say this modestly).

You can always apply again next year or attend community college.
