Getting scholarships in Oxford College vs. Emory College...

...is getting significant scholarships at Oxford much easier, or do they go by the same criteria for both? The Oxford College program sounds great, with an idea mix of a small liberal arts college and a big city university.

Can anyone relate their experience at Oxford College? How was the transition to Emory? Is there a sense those who matriculate at Oxford are somehow less qualified than those who spend 4 years at Emory?

can someone else answer this as well? thanks :)

I'll bump this once more, lol

I never actually made it out of Oxford because I transferred out, but since no one else replied I'll do my best.

When you tell students at main campus that you go to oxford you are indeed looked down upon, but I from what I've heard once you go there it's all fine and good, though you tend to stick with your old oxford buddies as your best friends.

The admissions for getting into Oxford is changing so they are trying to make it the same criteria to get into both places. Right now Oxford still is slightly easier to get in to compared to Emory. There are alot more partial scholarships offered at Oxford for the two years that you go there but then they won't transfer over to oxford.

I'm a junior now at Emory and I went to oxford with a scholarship. It was a smooth transition. I really enjoyed my experience at Oxford and made great connections with professors.
