Getting Straight A's

Hey Guys...I need your help. I'm a straight A student in college and have written a book on how to get straight A's. I want to make sure I cover everything though so what's your biggest obstacle to getting good grades in college?!

The beers and the broads and the broads and the booze.

Procrastination. Hands down. And the fact that I used to work full time…not a good combo.

drugs and fun

lack of drugs and fun

The biggest problem is finding a good test bank, and making sure that profs dont switch tests.

Procrastination

If you are a straight A student and have written a book on it then you should be telling us what you do.

Irritable bowel syndrome

I’ll be happy to tell you what I do. But it helps to know what your biggest obstacles are so that I can address them :)

not enough ritalin

My biggest obstacle is honesty and playing by the rules. If you stop doing that it aint so hard.

Procrastination has always been a problem. I’ll have MORE than enough time, but i’ll wait till the last minute. I’m working on fixing that now as i’m aiming for straight A’s this semester.

Grades based on attendance

Procrastination, test anxiety, food.

I love food. Not so much eating it, but making it. I can easily spend hours planning and cooking an elaborate meal and totally forget about schoolwork. Probably not typical, but that’s me(:

I’ve gotten pretty much straight 4.0s since my 2nd semester. Where I went wrong my first semester was that I didn’t ask for clarification on assignments. The profs I’ve had tend to give us ambiguous paper assignments but have fairly strict grading criteria. I would just kind of wing it, and it bit me. Now, I always ask well ahead of time if there is ANYTHING I don’t understand.
