Getting to Binghamton or Elmira Airport from Cornell

<p>How can I get to the Binghamton or Elmira Airport from Cornell? I am going home to LA, and tickets from these airports are cheapest. Is there a somewhat direct route to get there? Coach USA, Greyhound, limousine service, etc.? I do not have a car.</p>

<p>Coach USA can get you to Binghamton. You can buy your ticket online and pick it up at the terminal in the Commons. They run regularly 7 days a week</p>

<p>In Binghamton, which is about 45 minutes to an hour from Ithaca. It’s a very small airport so I’m surprised it’s cheaper for the OP to fly to LA from there rather than Syracuse.</p>

<p>I find that very strange. I am from NY, went to school upstate myself, as did one of my daughters, I travel on business all over NY and have never heard of anyone flying out of Binghamton. I would think Syracuse would be the airport with major carriers. If not flying from Syracuse to the West Coast directly or with a change of planes, Jet Blue flies to JFK from Syracuse.</p>

<p>Is there a bus that runs pretty regular to and from Cornell to the airport in Syracuse? My duaghter will not have a car and will be doing most of her traveling by plane. If so does anyone know the cost?</p>

<p>Syracuse was not cheaper when I looked. I flew into and out of Syracuse for spring break, so I am aware that it is an option. The problem is that the Cornell chartered bus does not go to Syracuse for summer break–only for the other breaks. </p>

<p>How do I get from Binghamton bus station to Binghamton airport? I saw on google maps that they are 10ish miles apart. Is there a city bus or do I have to take a taxi?</p>
