Getting to classes on time

Can I sched classes right next to each other. How much time do you get between periods. Do most classes get out early?

In Preview Prep they talk about that, I think is 15 min between each period.

There are 15 minutes between classes. Most of the classes that I have taken did not get out early on a regular basis. You should try looking at a map of the campus to see if you can make it to back-to-back classes.

Has anyone ever had trouble getting from class to class between period? I don’t wanna spend my whole day at school. I’d rather get it over with. Most of mine are relatively close but I’m concerned going from Little Hall to Florida Gymnasium to Bartram.

as long as everythings north of museum, you wont have any issues getting to class in time. especially with a bike

I’ve walked from Physics Building to Little Hall every day for a semester, and managed to make it on time probably every single time. NPB to LIT is probably the furthest walk you’ll run into, and it’s manageable in the 15 min span.

Often a nice break is good to unwind and eat lunch. My schedule for fall has 2 on, a one hour break, then 3 hours on. I like it that way.

I had NPB to Matherly for a semester. That was an awful walk, but I made it early every day without a bike.

Most of the buildings are within 15 minutes walking distance from each other. Unless you are trying to go from the Entomology Building to Norman Hall or something like that you should have plenty of time. Just don’t walk extremely slowly and don’t get distracted along the way by talking to friends and stuff.

I think you’re still stuck on the high school mindset that if you get to class late, you’ll get detention. At UF, it doesn’t matter if you are a minute late to your classes. I’ve had to go from the New Physics Building to Flint Hall last spring semester in 15 minutes, and I survived just fine.

I spent last week on campus. The vast majority of classes are in the North-east part of campus, and you should be able to make it in 15 minutes from any building to any other.
