Getting to/from Williams

If I were to go to Williams, I would be coming in from the Midwest. What are the best ways to get to Williams from the Midwest? Thanks.

Fly to Albany, cab/shuttle the rest of the way.

I always fly into Albany and drive a rental car to campus. If you rent a car through hotwire.com, it is very inexpensive. Be sure to allow about an hour for driving time from the airport. Enjoy your visit!

Southwest Airlines flies into Albany, which is the closest airport - 45-60 minutes away. Other options are Hartford, Providence, Manchester, Boston, or even New York. If visiting, you'll have to rent a car to get to campus. For students, there is a reasonably priced bus service that runs between campus and ALB during the high volume periods - beginning and end of each term and at Thanksgiving and Spring breaks. Taxis can be quite expensive between ALB and campus.

Airtran flies to Newburgh,NY 2hrs away. They have x fares, which is basically stand-by for 79$ any where they fly, if you are between the ages of 18-22.
