Getting to know some new friends

coming from north bay area : ) college 10 ftw

I’m a transfer, driving up with my family from Orange County.

Hah I’m from Torrance! But no one knows where that is so I just say redondo.

Im from Los Angeles…it’s gonna take me almost 6 hours to get there…i hope i dont fall asleep while im driving…

The drive’s really not so bad, especially if you take the 101 instead of I-5. It’s so much prettier and altogether more interesting to drive that route, especially if you take some of the cut through the state forest north of Santa Barbara (name escapes me). And if you’re afraid of spontaneous narcolepsy, stop for coffee often. ;)

Hey iggykins, what part of orange county are you coming from?

I agree with Hadrian, I’ve been on the drive up there with some other transfers from my school a few years ago, it wasn’t bad.

Syayaca, I’m coming from Garden Grove.

Nice! I’m coming from Aliso Viejo area!

really dchaves07?? which school do you go to?? i go to north

I graduated from west. Weirddddd

Oh no…Hadrian…i should check ur post first…since today i dont have school…i drove to UCSC with my friend…i took the I-5…and it was like hell…now i cant even turn my neck…

I-5 is definitely the fastest route there though.

True. The 101 is prettier but adds an hour at least

today i spent 5 hours and 10mins to get there… i parked my car next to College 10…and i didnt see many spots avaluable…

I don’t think 5 hours is bad time. It’s just far up north lol

I’m just happy its a hop skip and a jump to San Jose.

I live in Redondo, but work in Torrance at the lovely Toyota HQ.

Coming in from the East Bay, Walnut Creek area. Lots of folks telling me I’m pretty lucky, as the 1.5-2 hour commute is just far enough where I’m not bothered by family, but close enough that I can travel home on weekends/breaks easily.

Yey walnut creek! I’ve never been there but there is a lot of good bands from your area

Kyle Gass graduated from my high school, hahaha
