garcia4ever@hotmail.com

Interesting to see all the future Gauchos huddled up in one forum, mainly. Hope to see all of you this upcoming year ^_^

Yea i’m sure I’m going just haven’t submited my SIR yet.
I added u guys and have u decided what dorm ur staying in

oohh that reminds me! i have no idea what dorm preferences to put lol do you guys have any info on the dorms? and hello julio! and hello to whoever ucbound is haha
my name’s sitara!

Hey UCBound! Interesting username by the way :stuck_out_tongue:
Well, I also have to submit my SIR and whatnot. I’m leaning either towards FT or, if it’s more cost-convenient, finding a rental nearby.
Are you planning to go the the summer program for Freshmen?

Sitara my names Sammy.
I’m want to go to the summer school program but I’m not sure yet.

hey sitara! welcome to the group!! I’m definitely living in a residence hall next yeaar! a lot of my friends have told me that its one of the best experiences they’ve had at college, and mainly at SB! i would say anacapa! what kind of dorms are you looking for?

i though freshman had to live on campus? and sitara has been here for quite some time, julio :stuck_out_tongue: and here’s what a friend told me about the dorms

manzanita- ghost town. mainly upperclassmen so it’s pretty dull.

san nic- L shaped, boys on one side (l), girls on the other (_)…does that make sense? it’s close to campus. each hall shares it’s own bathroom. 8 stories high. close to all the dining halls.

santa cruz/anacapa- both are very similar. really nice. my friends recommended i stay here. close to dining halls.

santa catalina- over 1000 people, mainly freshman, 1 bathroom for every two rooms, food sucks, has a pool, over a mile from campus

san rafael- returning students.

i’m leaning towards san nic and santa catalina!

hello Sammy & Julio! btw if you guys have fbooks feel free to add, sitaraabraham@gmail.com

i’m pretty much in the same boat as you, i want a true dorm experience and I hear that the residence halls offer those mostly because theyre pretty huge and have helllla freshman too. But i think I might choose santa rosa, mainly because my friend says its basically the center of everything so its almost always bustling haha
julio you seem so excited for sb ahah! i love it!

Do u guys know what dorms will be fun to live in but at the same time u can actually study and r nice to live in

@tsilva11, haaaaa i knew that :stuck_out_tongue: lol can’t they live off campus too tho? haaha i don’t see why they would, but anyways… i’m definitely shooting for anacapa or santa catalina!

and sitara! I’m just stoked that i’m gonna meet a lot of new people! i live in a tiny town by the napa valley where everyone knows everyone so there’s not much goin on! so i’m definitely excited for SB!!

[Only in IV |](http://www.onlyiniv.com)
haha

hahaha i love that link  and i’m pretty sure freshman have to live on campus but i might be wrong.

@Tsilva: You actually are required to live on campus your Freshman year. I made a mistake in saying that I might rent out. I’ll probably end up dorming in either FT or Anacapa since I’m from L.A.

Hi everyone! I’m still considering UCSB, waiting back on 2 more letters later today (the 30th)!
I’m Ian Vernon from the Bay Area. I moved to California from New Jersey when I was 2, and have been here ever since. I’m planning to major in some type of science, probably Chemistry or Physics. I DJ, primarily electronic music (trance, electro-house, progressive house, and some dubstep here and there). I make my own mixes and post them online sometimes too =D. I also play competitive Super Smash Bros. Melee and keep up with politics closely. I’m not sure if I’m going to be a Gaucho, but I’m strongly considering it!

crouton, you should post up some of your work. dubstep is unfortunately ADDICTING as heck!!!

@ tsilva11; dude sup el toro!!! i go to garden grove, and i’m from anaheim too!!! omg irvine… lots of koreans, no?! (not like that’s bad!)
I LOVE THE WATER TOO LOL  ucsb may be perfect for us LOL
