Did you guys know that Jack Johnson often does concerts at UCSB because he’s an alumni? On April 1st, the premiere of Your Highness is going to be at UCSB (w/ James Franco and Natalie Portman) because UCSB won a college competition to have the premiere on campus. And, on April 2nd (the day I’m going up) there is going to be an event with bands and food. It’s going to be so cool having entertainment literally outside of our dorms :)</p>

My faves would have to be:
Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, The Bravery, The Clash, Death Cab For Cutie, Fiona Apple, Imogen Heap, Ingrid Michaelson, Keane, The Killers, MGMT, Modest Mouse, Mumford & Sons, Muse (though I don’t think they’re technically indie), Phoenix, Radiohead, The Strokes, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. I like all kinds of music though. (I happen to have a large collection of Spanish, rap, and metal on my iPod as we speak.) I’ll have to check out some of the bands you listed =)</p>

<p>@Sara I love the Clash! London Calling and their self titled LP are my favorite albums by them. I also used to be a big Muse obsesse back in the day but I grew put of them haha. Arcade Fire = amazing.</p>
