<p>Haha seriously I was worrying about the same thing! Especially since I’m not blonde or tan or really even that into the beach (I have more of a look don’t swim philosophy when it comes to the ocean).</p>
<p>im so scared of not making friends too! gahh haha but im still excited =) and maybe if I hear of some Sri Lankan polisci major who dislikes brown people drama as much as I do, I’ll know its you! haha and if I hear of some guy hitting on everything he sees im sure i’ll know thats thecreepers…</p>
<p>I thought I was the only South California that doesn’t like swimming in the ocean ahha…I’m deathly afraid of seaweed. It disgusts me to no end</p>

<p>I have reasonably fair skin, I turn brownish over the summer but by winter I’m white again lol</p>
<p>haha tan is an euphemism. we’re brown, but being super brown, i still get REALLY bad tans ahah! like weird farmers tans. and speaking of swimming, i need to learn–considering i will be living literally on the beach for the next 4 years lol</p>

<p>are people who don’t live in santa catalina allowed to use the pool? and yeah forsure, you all can add me i guess i CAN swim but when i put my foot down and cant feel anything…i start freaking out and hyperventilating, so i stay away from the deep blue seas as much as possible lol but laying out and just chilling on the beach is fun!</p>

<p>@ohforreal - I know haha one of my best friends is Fijian and during the summer her skin gets sooooo dark haha. And if you want I can help you with swimming. I’m a good swimmer I just don’t like it haha.</p>

<p>Tanya, I’m not sure about that…I really wanna dorm at Santa Catalina mainly because of the 4 people per bathroom (that’s a pretty sweet deal for a college dorm…) and because of it’s freshmen population.</p>

<p>Haha oh that’s not a secret for me. I freely admitted that i’m an eavesdropping people watcher. and YAY ICE CREAM! Don’t worry I’m pretty patient. I had to teach a gril to swim in freshman P.E., but luckily that got me out of running =)</p>

<p>this is my opinion and my opinion alone, I think having friends are overrated, I am a people person, but the idea of having BFF does not appeal to me …
I don’t like hanging out with guys, I just want to hang out with ONE cute girl who loves me …</p>
<p>we’re not looking for a new BFF, i’m sure we all have our best friends at home and we’ll keep in contact with, but it’s nice knowing people when you’re going into a totally new environment where you’re basically at the bottom of the totem pole and you’re kinda all alone :)</p>
