I'm attending a language school this summer, but when I plug Middlebury into google maps it looks very inaccessible for someone without a car. Do I need to buy a plane ticket? Is there a cheaper option from Philly or NYC?

The cheapest way is probably to take the Megabus from NYC to Burlington. Book early for the best fares. Then take a local bus called Midd-Burlington Link right to Middlebury. Check the schedule carefully though!

hohum, thanks for this link. If you’re willing to pay a little more, what are the other best options to get from the Burlington airport to Midd? I’ve googled it, but I’m getting vague info about cab/limo companies and fees. If you have personal experience with what works for students, that would be great! Thanks so much.

Cool, thank you!

Which Middlebury stop on the Midd-Burlington Link is on campus? Or is it a small enough place that either will do?

Evidence - The M-F bus stops in downtown Middlebury at Merchant’s Row which is about 1/4 to 1/2 mile away from campus. On Saturday, the bus stops at Adirondack circle which is right on campus.

River - There is an airport shuttle service run out of Middlebury.
