Are there consequences for a ghostwriter/exam taker if they have already graduated? They have earned their degree without academic misconduct but have been hired by a current student to help with an exam. Obviously, there are severe consequences for the current student, should they be caught, but what about for the person hired, if they have a university degree already?
I would hope that the university would rescind their degree.
morally yes, but technically doesn’t the academic code of conduct agreement end post-graduation?
There was a case in Canada where a degree was revoked 15 YEARS after graduation.
Ah yes, the University of Calgary case! He was the one accused of plagiarism during his years of admittance, though. So a bit different
