Hey vets attending Columbia,
I have Post 9-11 GI bill and I am not quite informed about it,
How long will this last in Columbia going full time?

Not a vet, but I have many vet friends. They all seem to covered for all four years. They do not, however, appear to be covered for summer sessions.

The Milvets Facebook group might be a good resource for you, too.

It ill not cover your entire tuition. It can cover your tuition for 8 semesters (spring/fall) for four years, if you took only 12 credits each of those semesters. However that only gives you with 96 credit and you need 124. So essentially, over a 4 year career, you will be paying roughly 28 credits worth out of pocket. However, federal loans should cover this. You shouldn’t have to take out private loans as a vet, unless you plan on going to summer school at Columbia, which complicates the GI Bill process.
