Daughter has been dating a young man who is graduating this spring with honors (3.9 GPA); he's sitting for the GRE in February, and is undecided if he wants to go to grad school or law school. He already has all his test prep books etc.

What possible gift can I get him that supports his goals? As background, both of his parents are remarried but do not contribute to his college expenses or support; he works three jobs, got himself through school with a combination of work study and significant loans, maintains his own apartment etc. When he called his father to tell him he would be graduating with honors, the response came back "I'm at work, don't bother me with this stuff at work".

In any case, there are two gifts under my tree from this young man, and I'd like to get him something that in some way supports his future education goals, but am lost. Any ideas?
