wait!!! so book your travel e-mail is likely to be acceptance!!! i deleted without even reading it cause i assumed it was nothing special!! So, am I actually admitted?! Can someone replicate the text of that message here?!

Olzhas…look over at the first post on the active “likely” ? thread. It contains the text (as do a couple of other threads). It’s a LOT like the one you probably got a week or two ago. I know I’d have missed it too…if somone on here hadn’t said “Hey, what’s up?” But there are a few sentences thrown in to make it “real” (AND…several proactive CCers called admissions and confirmed it’s an acceptance). Congrats.

[]Teacher Recs: Didn’t read, probably good but typical.
[]Counselor Rec: Same. Counselor liked me, but we were never close.
[]EC highlights: Tons and tons of theatre, a little videoproduction, a little volunteer work, a few small jobs. But mostly tons and tons of theatre and theatre related ECs.

Person:

[li] Gender: Male[/li]Other Factors, hook?: Audition

General Comments, scholarship decisions, are you going to NYU? If so, why? If not, why not?: I’m totally thrilled to be accepted to Tisch. It was my first dream school, and I definitely still would be interested in attending. However in recent years I have become more interested in a real campus, with a more communal feel, so I am somewhat hesitant. Finances could also be an issue, with NYU’s lack of good financial aid. Long story short, I have no idea, and am waiting to hear elsewhere.

Well I somehow managed to f*** the formatting on that up, but whatever.

Decision: Accepted

[] Ethnicity: half white, half Korean
[] Gender: F

[] Weaknesses: ECs are a bit spotty.
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Couldn’t tell ya.
