[]CounselorRec: didnt see them, most likely okay, maybe a little above average.
[]AdditionalRec: didnt have
[]Interview: There was an interview portion of my audition, which was really good, because I was able to explain how my ghetto school of 80 people did not have a theatre program (okay, it has one, but they spend a semester putting together a readers theater. Its mainly freshmen in the class)
[/ul]Other[ul] I went to a two-week theatre workshop at Texas State University, speak Spanish, a little French and Yoruba, travel to Nigeria frequently, and have 5 sisters and a brother (im the second oldest). I also go to school about ten miles from Fort Hood, and he asked me a question or two about the shootings. I dont think that really had to much to do with anything though, so I should take that off. Also, I arranged for my school to sponser a little girl in Angola

[]Hooks(URM,firstgenerationcollege, research, etc.): Workshop at TSU, showed that even though I wasnt in theatre class, Im still dedicated to acting.
[/ul]Reflection[ul]
[]Strengths: Extra-curriculars, Classes, Leadership Roles, maybe recommendation, definitely the common app questions, I used Spiderman as my New Yorker, talked about a trip to the market in Nigeria, and wrote an Anti-limerick when I couldnt think of a good limerick. Maybe my scores a little? Definitely the reading and writing sections.
[]Weaknesses: MATH. Math, math, and oh
did I mention math? That and my extremely small resume.
[]Whyyouthinkyouwereaccepted/waitlisted/rejected: My application, and maybe my audition had something to do with it. I still dont know. I did Vals monologue (from A Chorus Line) and a monologue from Oscar Wildes An Ideal Husband. I had a lot of fun with them, but if I could change one thing, I would have started practicing earlier. I got my chorus line piece in October, but I changed to the Ideal Husband piece at the last minute, about two weeks before the NYU audition.
[/ul]GeneralComments: AAHHHH!! CANT BELIEVE IM IN!!!(:
