<p>Really, he’s proved himself to be more of a joke in how he’s handled the situation. So many times, I’m willing to forgive athletes (and people in general) when they do dumb stuff if they at least admit it was dumb and do something about it. I feel the same way about Tiger and Mike Leach, if you’re following that.</p>

<p>Gilbert is a massive idiot. He just cost himself his $111M deal or whatever it was. How can somebody so succesful not have the common sense to actually abide by league policy? Tiger is stupid as well, and I think he should have held a press conference the first day the allegations surfaced, then went into hiding. The Mike Leach situation is really weird imo.</p>
