And from my observations and accounts, it’s inaccurate; that’s why it’s pointless to continue this conversation. We might as well be debating favorite colors. I’m happy with my views and my life and I hope you are with yours. We’ll agree to disagree.

I don’t know about you, but whenever I have a discussion or debate, I always try to come to an agreement with the other party. If it’s not important, then I let it go if it’s apparent we’re not making any headway.

Im planning to study mechanical engineering next year, but I do get so shy around guys, and I’m afraid it comes off as plain awkwardness.
Just hope that i’ll be able to fit in. -fingers crossed-

I had not remained single for very long throughout highschool and my first year of CC but now that I am delving deep into my engineering/math courses I find that I do not have the expendable time or resources to get involved in a relationship. If you go to the same school and have spare time over the weekend, yes its possible. But these are the most important years of your life and chances are your relationship with your SO wont last forever so I advise you put that off until after college. Friends w/benefits are the exception by the way.

Female here, Civil Engineer, Boyfriend is an Electrical Engineer, we’ve been together for 2 years (including around a cumulative year long distance so far). It’s been grand and he’s the reason why I haven’t gone 100% crazy in engineering (just like 85% crazy xD).

Don’t get an SO for SO’s sake. Get an SO because hey, that guy and/or girl is really cool/ sweet/ smart/ funny and if you let this chance slip you’ll beat yourself up later. I asked out my boyfriend and it’s been a great ride.
