girls. how do you reject a guy?

Okay, I am a guy. Mind you, I'm not the person who got rejected. My best friend did, however. He liked this girl, and he thought this girl liked him too, but at the same time, he thought the girl didn't. So he confided her feeling anyway. The girl after 3 days, went him on a walk around the school. Then she told him she really liked him, but she wasn't ready for a relationship yet. She didn't want to turn him into her enemy and not want to break their friendship. The guy told me that was the sweetest rejection possible. But he at the same time wonder if that was just politeness or she does like him. They still became friends and behave normally after that tho
I have no answer. Girls, help? please lol

and what would be other ways to reject a guy? Do you girls usually do it gently, or not?

Usually that’s just a way of saying, “i like you, but not more than a friend”. I doubt she’s not ready for a relationship. “She didn’t want to turn him into her enemy and not want to break their friendship.” That’s probably right on.

He’s friend zoned.

There is an insanity wolf that goes…

“She put you in the friend zone? Put her in the ____ zone!!!”

____ = 4 letters, starts with R, ends with the generic name for a hominid

How old is she?

I’d trust her statement that she’s not ready for a relationship. Not everyone is. Idk why everyone here is going balls-to-the-walls about everyone wanting to bone or get boned.

If I would want to reject a guy, I would say no thanks.
I’ve always learnt to have good manners :)

I love stories that talk about someones “friend”.

I’m a girl.

I think her response is fine since I would say that too.

On another note, I thought you were a girl at first because there’s a girl I know whose real name is Isabella but her friends call her belly. So yeah.

Fortunately your name make your gender completely unambiguous.
