Girls--Looking for a totebag

LOL

HOLY JALAPENOS

I am soo stealing that, apple green.

I am sorry for double posting

Longchamp bags cost as much as two of my Theology books, used.

<a href="http://www.nextag.com/longchamp-totes/search-html%5B/url%5D">http://www.nextag.com/longchamp-totes/search-html</a></p>

The cheapest one on this site ^ is $12 and it is like plastic.

Their web site is like vulgar. I am not even posting a link to it. Most gals buy bags and things, right? How many of us gals want to see a naked lady advertising a bag? I mean, really! I do not desire to see a naked lady advertising a bag which she is holding to cover her bosoms. That is soo gross. There is no point in that.

I can sew a dead ringer of a $80 Vera Bradley bag btw. Those are not worth it.

signed,

your granny merlin ™

I like the L.L. Bean totes! Should I get a medium or large totebag to carry my books?

These are the measurements:

Medium 15"H x 11¼"W x 8"D.

Large 17"H x 16½"W x 8"D.

Thanks

You know, honeypot. I think the bag should work with your height and all. Like, I am really tall (some would say Amazonian), so I could do alright with the large. But, if someone is more petite, then the medium would work well. They are both huge, either way. The large is like, really large.

Large is way too big for just books (I use my large to go grocery shopping/take stuff home on weekends). Go for the medium or even the small.

They also have long handled ones too...

i dunno how big u need it or how much ur willing to spend but coach has some nice totes and i really like the quilted chanel bag. maybe not big enough for text books tho...

Everyone on my campus has the Vera Bradley or American Eagle/Abercrombie ones. I like the coach ones that are more briefcase style but they are more pricey.

Get a medium LL Bean tote with long handles so that you can carry it over the shoulder.

I swear by my Vera or my Rugby RL bag.

LL Bean has the large rugby stripe tote with a zip top and long handles on clearance for $19. The colors are kind of bright (it's yellow and orange with navy trim), but I think they're cute. I bought one yesterday with a monogram on it, and it came to right at $25 shipped (I had a free shipping code).

Ok girls here's the scoop. I got my D a "going to college" tote that she uses as a pocketbook every day and absolutely loves. She gets so many compliments. Now I know it is expensive, and it's the first time I've ever spent this much on a bag, and of course it isn't even mine. It's the new Fall Coach reversible monogramable and it is precious. Hers was the middle size, they have one bigger and one smaller. She only needs one or two books at a time so they fit. Tell your mom you deserve it cause you worked so hard to get there, and you need to make a great impression. Hope it works. Now I wish I could afford one for me!
