Girls majoring in math

Assuming there is a low number of females majoring in mathematics as compared to males, am I more likely to be accepted if I want to major in math?

Don't think so. They know that people can change majors easily.

All the girls interested in math who know their colleges know that Harvard is a top math college, so that won't make you look different from dozens of other applicants. One of the girls (at least) at Harvard now won a gold medal in the International Mathematical Olympiad, so Harvard has certainly seen applications from very strong math-liking girls before.

It might give you a bit of a tip, as Harvard, along with other colleges, is trying to encourage more women to go into math and sciences. One factor that has been adduced for the paucity of tenured women is the pipeline. That is more the case in math/sciences than in the humanities and social sciences. So, if Harvard wants to have a bigger pool of scientists to choose from down the line, it needs to tend to the pipeline.
That said, Tokenadult is correct that Harvard attracts strong math students of both sexes.
