<p>I did not have an interview (not sure if being the only one competing had anything to do wi/ that :D). I can offer you some basic advice, though, from other interviews. Know some basic politics, like who the key figures in your state are, and maybe which partly is ruling the house and senate. Why do you want to go to Girls' State? How will you benefit from the experience? What can you bring to it? GOOD LUCK!</p>
<p>More than 1 student from a district can go. Our local high school usually sends about 10 boys to boys state and several girls to girls state. Maybe it is based on the size of the district? Also they are usually sponsored by organisations (which I assume means they pay something). Other than that I don't know much as my son would have never been interested and my daughter had Naval Academy summer seminar that week so did not apply.</p>
