girls..the ideal male personality?

What would you want your guy's personality to be like?

What activities would you like him to partake in?

or does it not matter to you as long as he has a nice bod?

He has to intelligent, bilingual (or trilingual+), funny, compassionate, caring, kind, respectful, etc.

He needs to be an performer. Musician, songwriter, actor, singer, dancer, etc. He needs to have other interest too though :)

Smart, funny, confident, fairly laid back but also ambitious, preferably a musician, and fun to be around (of course) :)

Intelligent, enjoys learning for the sake of learning, is not put off by my social awkwardness, ambitious, respectful, good sense of humor, decent to excellent taste in music, likes to travel, not completely hideous, does not have a ridiculously huge number of friends.

likes to laugh, respectful, somewhat smart, nice, ummm not conservative because we wouldn’t get along if he was…

:D

-At/above my level of intelligence
-Inquisitive
-Creative
-Sympathetic
-Shy
-Respectful

^ I didn’t know you were a girl?

She has a Pistil Adam. geez
plant reference.

Ideally, a laidback nerd. He’d receive good marks in honors classes, get excited about the latest documentary on BBC and catch a fair amount of my Trek and/or band references. I say laid back because I can’t see myself with someone who couldn’t or wouldn’t bring himself to meet me at my level from time to time, or someone who obssesses about MIT admissions through all he does.
I’d date a healthy guy that fit this description, regardless of his physical attributes. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all, and before long I’d think he was gorgeous.

^did a girl just mention Trek? I MUST be in the wrong school!

You guys are so specific.

Intelligent
Nice
Funny

Funny
Smart
Somewhat toned
ice hair
medium/tan skin
athletic
goal in life
know whats going on in the world

Funny, like making my stomach hurt daily from laughter.

And not a total a-hole.

It’d be cool if he’s into watching/playing basketball or likes comics but it’s not needed. I don’t care if he’s smarter/dumber than me.

A nice body is great and all but really I can’t get over a non-funny guy. Or an ugly guy. Like, I have the opportunity to date a six-pack having, tall, football player, but he’s kinda (really) ugly and not funny at all. Like, he tries to be funny and fails. But an okay looking guy, or even a kinda ugly one, that’s hilarious can usually get any girl.

Or Ryan Reynolds.

Intelligent
Appreciates all sorts of music
Can play an instrument
Has a good sense of humor
Some sort of athleticism
Ambitious
Decent body and looks
Nice, respectful, not too alpha male,
good w/kids

P.S This man does not exist.

^nah, he’s just gay

You so mean >.<

-Nice/Sweet

-Kind

Funny…or at least has some sense of humor :)

-witty…

-Thoughtful

Talkative

Compliments me

good flirt

-intelligent

-has dark features…and I don’t mind green/hazel eyes

-laidback

-respects me

Family oriented

I have come to the conclusion that I am indeed a very shallow person. Besides my aforementioned no-crying and effeminate or sensitive behavior rule, I do not care about the person’s personality whatsoever–provided he is very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very attractive.

In fact, I couldn’t come up with a single personality trait that I prefer.

I actually know a straight guy who fits this. He’s a little alpha male, but not too bad. He plays viola, sings and bagpipes (even though he’s not Scottish), he’ll listen to just about any music except Christian Rock. I’ve never met anyone who cracks me up so often. He’s in the top 1% intellectually. He’s played football, done track, and is a year away from his black belt. I’ve never met someone who wants to do well at the things that matter to him. His grades aren’t quite up to par on CC standards, but he’s smarter than most of the 4.1 GPA students (a difficult life tends to distract him from grades). He’s not ugly by any means. Blue eyes. Six foot. Dark hair. He’s strong, not muscular, but strong. He’s the kind of guy that opens doors for girls and makes them walk on the inside when on a sidewalk (some old rule of chivalry, so I’ve been told) and you should see him around his nephew and the little kids of his neighborhood. They love him and he’s great with them. It’s insane.

Yeah, so I pretty much fail at all these personality traits. My self-esteem is low.
