All right, what do you girls think of guys that have facial hair? I personally have a kick-ass pair of sideburns, not too big, but clean cut and angular, and will probably get a small goatee when it becomes possible. How does facial hair influence your opinion of how attractive a guy is? Just curious.

get rid of it 2. don’t do it

don’t get me wrong, a nice 5 o’clock shadow on SOME guys can work [although, i usually prefer clean-shaven]. but sideburns & a goatee!?!?!

Sideburns are a terrible thing. They should never go past the bottom of the ear. And a goatee is horrible.

I usually only shave like every 3 days so I get some stubble. Plus, I only use an electric razor so I don’t get a super close shave. However, I think most facial hair looks bad.

Interesting. I’ve had them for about three years now, so it will be tough. And they pretty much stop at the bottom of my ear at an angle, so they’re not all that ridiculous. At this point I’m scrapping the goatee idea. I do use an electric razor, so yeah, hatersunite, I do have some stubble that’s always there. I also have this like miniature faux-hawk party type thing in the front, what about that?

Facial hair is terrible on guys, Terrible. Thankfully my Catholic school requires dudes to be clean-shaven. Seriously guys, you don’t look older or tougher, you look like a tool.

Sideburns are only worth it if you’re going for the Wolverine look.

5 o’clock shadow is too late, 4 is better.
If you’re gonna have facial hair it has to be all or nothing

Side burns and a goatee= gross. Actually, all legitimate facial hair is pretty much unattractive. Stubble or even slightly exaggerated stubble, though it makes you look lazy, can be cute, and the difference when you do decide to shave makes you look better.
But only some guys can do stubble. Basically, assume you need to shave as often as it takes for you to be constantly clean shaven.

Not cute.

wait…your sideburns stop at an angle? oh, no D:

Any kind of facial hair is a no-no! Gross! Sideburns are hot though if you do them right. The only kind of facial hair that is acceptable/hot (only if you can pull it off though) is that look with a tiny bit of intentional stuble running along the edge of your jaw if you know what I’m talking about.

^ lol yea i agree with honorstudent and with most people around here. i’m not a big fan of facial hair on guys. unless if its the teeny bit running along the jaw line area…idk how to explain it but it really depends; for the most part i don’t like it.

I don’t like it at all. I don’t know why. There are few exceptions to this, though.

haha you know what the worst one is?
Chinstraps…for god’s sake, if you keep one it’s like you’re asking for someone to kick you in the balls.

If you had to pick one which would it be?

This as well as other posts on this thread show the homogeneity of posters on CC. For the most part this is an attitude of upper class and intelligent women. Girls in a lower class and those who are less intelligent would probably disagree with this statement.

FWIW, heavy stubble is seen as awesome among fellow man.

I’ve had stubble all summer long. During the school I’m not lazy and I actually shave. haha

I’m a guy but I like guys with mild facial hair. I think it’s sexy, especially 5 o’ clock shadow Light sideburns are sexy too.

I honestly don’t care lol. Whatever makes one happy:)

You’ll often find me with stubble not because I think it looks cool but because I’m too lazy to shave every day.
