Victoria's Secret sells mass-produced underwear. I wonder how they manufacture their "goods."

I shop:

Victoria's Secret
Marshall's
TJ Maxx (they have Juicy Couture half off!!!)
Aeropostale
Nordstrom
Bebe
Express
Forever 21
Saks
Bloomingdales
Neiman Marcus

I basically shop everywhere!

There you go! Neimans, Saks, Nordstrom, and Bloomingdales sell better underwear. Stop the VS hegemony!

nordstrom has great underwear realli cheap on their sales rack. i get like twenty pairs at once.

You should try www.bluefly.com and figleaves.com:)

ive never been to any of those stores....do they have a mailing list?

Anyone know when Nordstrom is having the huge semi-annual sale? thanks

Half-yearly for women ended on the 16th. The men's is still going on.

The Anniversary Sale, which is actually better because it includes new merchandise, starts in July.

Honest to god, they actually make a lot of them in prisons. I don't remember where I heard that, but I deffinetly did.

Saks
Neimans
Henri Bendel when in NYC
Anthropologie
Ebay
Vintage anything
Brooks Brothers
Ralph Lauren
Calypso Christenne Celle on Newbury St. in Boston is my favorite store in the world... I want to get a job there next year
And I always window shop/scour sale racks at Burberry, Chanel, etc. I would way rather have fewer really good quality, classic pieces I'll wear forever than any amount of trendy clothes. I'm dying for a Burberry trench coat and a Chloe equestrian hobo.

Ok, I'm done.

haha, what is this chloe equestrian hobo?? I find all of these "equestrian" things funny, like these rediculous looking ralph lauren "riding pants" with a fringe going down the side, and leg patches. Also "english riding boots" for more than even custom made english riding boots would cost. . . very funny. . .

hmmm...Ive been out of the States pretty much all my life. I have no clue where I'm gonna shop. I really will need to shop when I come down though and I'll be on a tight budget. Any ideas?
I'll be in a small town in PA so considering that what do you all reckon? I'm cool with shopping abt anywhere as long as I like what I get though I suppose finding stuff that fits me well weill be a lil tricky coz I'm kinda tiny and real skinny. Any ideas?

which small town in PA?? If it's lewisburg, you will basically be limited to wal-mart.

Target! pimp clothes and shoes for $10!

Now I'm really scared, I've lived in Hong Kong all my life and I'm headed for Bates College which is in a small town. Does small town equal nothing but Wal-Mart/Target?

Depends on how small the town is. Where I live, my town is around 9,000 people. Yeah, pretty much the only thing we have here is Wal-Mart and grocery stores. My college however, is in a somewhat bigger but still small town (35-40,000 people) and there's a mall with department stores like Dillard's and smaller stores like American Eagle etc, boutiques downtown, a strip mall a couple miles away with an Old Navy and Target, plus two super Wal-Marts and K-Mart.

my friend makes her own shirts out of fabric.

Chloe equestrian hobo

shopping`s my past time & is completely wonderful.

hm...

i shop pretty much anywhere as long as they have cute clothes... except i don't shop at like Zumiez or anything... because i went there once and the cashier scared the crap out of my friend & I.

so, that was the end of me shopping at Zumiez.

ohhh, my 3rd post & i'm already addicted to collegeee confidential, baby!

It isn't equestrian if you wouldn't take it to a barn, and taking it to a barn means there's a rather decent chance of it touching horse poop.
