Everybody knows string theory is ********

I would like the guy who made himself known.

Dude, you need to get out there, otherwise it’ll be a complete shock when you say you like a chick. Why do you think all the idiots get the girls? They are out there talking to them and asking them out.

If the guy has a personality and there arent awdward silences probs him. But as long as he isnt an immature geek. The other guy sounds perfect except for not caring and being conceited. GUYS: Girls hate conceited guys!!!

^^So true, ew arrogance is my number one thing I can’t stand.

And well, the second one sounds like a self-absorbed ****er–what if I don’t enjoy talking about the String Theory incessantly? I like a nice intellectual conversation, its true, but if he’s talking about the String Theory over dinner, he’s obviously trying to show off how smart and he is, or he’s just so antisocial he has nothing else to talk about. Or self-absorbed because he thinks I care.

Door Number One, and I’m not even a girl whose into money that much…

Let’s be honest here for a minute. Guy #1 sounds like a complete alpha, and guy #2 is…noo that would be insulting to a beta’s…an OMEGA.

Don’t get mad at me, but girls prefer the alpha guy. You don’t need to be rich and arrogant to be alpha, but being “introverted” and not doing “anything to impress” makes him sound uninteresting. It’s a proven fact that girls will take the exciting jerk over the boring nice guy.

Ironically, I just noticed a Facebook conversation about String Theory a few of my friends were having.

neither, I’ll take someone who’s more complex.

Your friends sound like idiots.

yet your location says you’re headed to Penn … hmm

An excellent point … but for the fact that the OP described option 2 as someone that “could engage you in a talk about string theory on a date”, not someone that will yap about it even if you have no interest.

Ahaha that was funny. (Although I hope it really was a joke; one can take various paths with a Penn education.)

I would take the rich hot guy. (no homo)

How I despise you, ThisCouldBeHeaven and your humorous, yet critical judgment! ;)

Any man who attempted to even “engage me in conversation” about string theory while not trying “to impress” me seems pretty self-centered to me. Even as a girl, on a date, I tend to try to say things that I know will interest him/impress him!

A good balance between the two.

Theoretically the second one. Practically the first one. And recently I’ve been all for practicality.

high five.

Neither. And many guys only fit into both catagories vaguely, or not at all.
