I got wait listed…any idea on chances of getting in?
To those who got in and filled out the forms, did you receive the welcome packet yet?

I got into DC site with BSA Software Alliance. But, I wasn’t given any sort of level? Has anyone figured out what the levels stand for?

From the acceptance email, I think that they’re just levels of experience/difficulty. Level 1 is the beginner level, and 2 is for more advanced people I think.
On another note, for those of you who are have applied to or are waiting for decisions from other summer programs, are you going to go to GWC?
I got in Los Angeles. I do not see any levels on email. Anyone else in LA? I took APCS already. Do you think this program might not be challenging?
I did APCS too and from what I understand only like the first week is review because let’s be serious APCS was pretty basic.
I don’t hear back from Gov School till mid-April, so I am not sure if I should accept because I would love to go to there if I do get in.
Anyone else get into the DC program?
@shrubs Same situation except that Im waiting for Cosmos.
If you want to go to Gov School more, then dont accept cuz if you accept you have to go.
Did anyone accept the GWC at nyc already?
@cincandyful I figured as much, as well. But good luck with Cosmos! 
I do not know if Cosmos is better than this one. I am waiting for Cosmos as well, but it is not my first choice. This one is free and Cosmos is $3500. UCLA HSSRP was my first choice, but I did not get any responses from them. Both GWC and Cosmos are sort of educational enrichment programs, not a research programs.
@cincandyful @shrubs Do you think it’d be ok to accept first and wait to see decisions from other programs? Because technically they can’t do anything if you change your mind. Except I know that it’d be horribly rude…

@lumiere16 honestly, I have thought of that myself, but I am still confused. Have you accepted or denied yet, if you don’t mind me asking?
@shrubs I still haven’t done anything. Ugh I think I’m leaning towards accepting and then telling them if I decide not to go. I feel so bad about it though…
@lumiere16 which one did you get into? and do you know when we got to accept by?
@minniemice18 Microsoft level 2 (NYC). I think you have to accept by today actually! At least, I just did.
@lumiere16 I’m indecisive! I applied to other places so idk if I should accept because I don’t want to decline after.
