-Vanderbilt University
-Washington University in St. Louis
-Pepperdine University
-Brown University
-Northwestern University
-Boston College
-University of Notre Dame

GPA & RANK
Class rank: Top 3%

COURSES
I have taken all Honors courses in every core class except for Biology freshman year. This past year (junior year) however I took Pre Calculus instead of IB Math Studies I. I also took English 11 Honors instead of IB English. But I was enrolled in IB History of the Americas and IB Chemistry. This year I will also take IB Spanish V. Junior year I did take Accounting which was unweighted. This year I will take Physics which is weighted, but I do not know if it is considered an honors course.

How many times have you taken ACT? If seems your scores are not stable and all sections bounced up and down. You did not show your Science section score but I estimate it from your superscore to be highest around 29 (27-30). This is usually an indication of insufficient preparation for the test. As most schools do not superscore ACT, so the score they will look at would be the single sitting composite of 30 which is not very good for most of the schools on the list. If you can bring up your ACT scores a couple points, you would have a much better chance for these schools.

Vandy, WUSTL, ND, NWern, and Brown are all reaches.

Test scores test scores test scores.

@billcsho I have taken the ACT many times. My highest science score is a 27. I ensure you that I have sufficiently prepared for my tests, but I cannot seem to get completely consistent results. English and Math are always my highest scores, but I cannot get a good grip on Reading and Science. I will most likely take the test two more times and I am looking for ways to improve upon my results. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!

If you can only get a 27 on sci, try the sat!

Thanks I’ll look into it!

Since you have taken ACT too many times, you should definitely try SAT. At least, most schools superscore SAT.
