Yeah I have very low test scores as you can see, and the reasons that I am very insecure about my admissions.

Please Chance me at the following: UCLA (Geology), UC Berkeley (Anthropology), UCSD (Geology), USC (I want to apply as Engineer but dont know if I have a chance), U Penn (philosophy), Stanford (toss up for everyone I guess), Rice University, Pomona, Cornell

Your test scores are alright, except your math 2 could be higher.
LA - slight reach
SD - match
Berk - slight reach to reach, though closer to a slight reach

No to Stanford and Rice is my guess though. Your competition is uber hardcore there. And also, noteworthy is your failing the AP Chem exam. Failing. That will reflect negatively.

A 1390/1600 is kind of low for Upenn, stanford, cornell, and rice… Decent chances at the other ones though…

Good Luck.

Rice doesn’t look at the writing score according to an adcom there… Cornell’s College of Arts and Sciences is really compietive, I think its acceptance rate is only 14 percent…

Yeah honestly I just want to get into UCLA or UC Berkely. But man, I hope I get in.

I hear UC’s are all a numbers game and my UC GPA is about 3.9 or 4.0. Combined with the SAT score I have, and decent essays I hope that its enough especially since I am only applying to Arts and Science school.

UCLA (Geology)–Match
UC Berkeley (Anthropology)–Match (possibly slight reach, but I’d say Match as an anthropology major)
UCSD (Geology)–Safe Match to Match (closer to Safe Match in my view)
USC (Engineering at Viterbi)–Match
U Penn (philosophy)–Slight Reach
Stanford–Reach
Rice University–Slight Reach
Pomona–Reach
Cornell–hardest one to tell–Match to Slight Reach–probably a Match in my view (Applying as an Anthropology major). I’d say Slight Reach as an Engineering major.

your scores look good enough, GPA hurts for your ivies the most. I think ull get in at UC’s. I think Rice you got a really good chance at. As for ur ivies, stanford, and pomona you GPA kills since it is probly one of biggest 3 things on app. Usually GPA, Essays, and EC’s with Leadership are the biggies, SAT isnt as important, just makes sure you are competent. I think Cornell is doable with anthropology.

UCSD is a definite. For UCLA ,USC ,and Berkeley, if you really emphasize yoru leadership, essays, and student gov. position, i think you have a good chance.

ORM from an overrepresented state and not being closer to top of class will make ivies and Pomona very hard without another 150 SATI score and better IIs.
