Emory is my dream school, and the only other option I have is UT Austin (which is my safety). Please by honest about my chances because I'm am so close to sending in my deposit to UT...before even getting Emory decisions.

I seriously have no major/impressive awards.

Supplement Essay: I wrote about the sustainability culture at Emory and how that relates to my interest in medicine and anesthesia.

I have not visited the school yet; do you think it would be worth a visit over Spring Break, even though it's so close to decision time? If I get rejected, it would be a waste, and it I get accepted, I don't have any time to go until the week before we have to commit...

Lol…don’t fret dude. You have a very good chance of getting in. Your stats/school work are right on par, if not a bit over average. EC’s are good–the only downside here are the awards. If you can write well (which I think you can) your essay will make you the type of person Emory would take.

And no, there’s no point in visiting during spring break before you find out about the acceptance. (Look at pics, talk to people, etc. once you get in).

Yeah, I forgot to mention there was a minor typo on my essay…

anyone else?

dont worry.

seriously?
