I started my own online business. A friend and I created our own software and launched the site. The business gets a lot of hits and generates profits. The firm is registered as an LLC. I am the CEO of the firm and responsible for managing our relationship with the distributors as well as develop the business further. By far my primary activity.

I conducted economics research during junior and senior year. The researched focused on financial literacy and socioeconomic classes. I have submitted the project to Intel STS and plan on submitting to a variety of journals as well.

I have been elected as a representative at my school's student government.

I have studied indian classical music for the past 7 years. My focus has been on folk music.

Internships:

I currently intern at a hedge fund in the Chicago area. I got the internship by contacting them myself (I have no contacts in the industry or anything). I had the same responsibilities as college interns during the summer, but currently only work after school twice a week.

I have also interned at a corporate law firm. Attained it the same was as the hedge fund internship. Worked there during the summer and prepared case files and conducted legal research.

Not sure about academics, they sound fine but not exceptional (for their standards). However, your ECs sound extremely good. Why not try for a business school such as Wharton? I don't know in percentages, sorry.

Thanks. I really don't want to pigeon hole myself as I have a bunch of interests in CS, liberal arts etc I want to pursue as an undergrad. Trying to keep my options open as much as possible.

Appreciate any and all feedback.
