EC's- not brilliant(no invention) but substantial

When do the apps for either Cornell or Penn come out?

Are you in state or out for the UCs?
You should be good for Pepperdine and USC. I'm not sure how the most selective schools will react to your relatively low UW GPA and medium SAT.

I'm gonna assume you're in Cali.

Cornell - Slight Reach
Penn - Reach
Georgetown - High Match/Low Reach
USC - Match/High Match
Pepperdine - Match
UCR - Safety/Match
UCI - Safety/Match
UCLA - High Match
UCB - High Match
UCSD - Match

If you're outta state you're MAYBE in at Riverside, rejects at the other UC's, and same predictions for the private schools.

Cornell CAS/Penn CAS ED - Cornell- match, Penn- reject
Georgetown-reach
USC-reach
Pepperdine- match/safety
UCR- safety
UCI- match/safety
UCLA- reach
UCB- big reach
UCSD- match/reach

Raise your sat about 200 pts. if possible.

Georgetown is reach... unless you up your SATs

Cornell is a low reach/match.............thats weird, but cool.

What would my chance be with a 34 ACT (just took a practice test)

hockey dude says USC is a reach and cornell is a match.......well it could be the ED but still.

Which is better Penn or Cornell CAS?

Your chances would increase significantly with a 34. I'm pretty sure a 34 is equivalent to an SAT score much higher than the one you currently have.

I really don't think that Cornell can be considered a low reach/match with a 3.63 GPA, bring your SAT's up 100 points or so and it maybe could be considered a medium reach, and a medium/low reach for Georgetown, everything else looks good though

34 ~ 2260
and with your 3.78 UC you'll be in at all UC's
as for other's your chances are slightly lower. cuz your gpa is slightly lower.

Raise the SAT score a bit. also GPA if you still can.
In at USC, Pepperdine, and UCs except maybe LA and B
Cornell/Penn reaches but better chance at cornell. Depends on your essays and recs. Good luck!
