Given my situation, what should I major in?

I just finished my freshmen year of college and I am a pre-med intended biology major. Biology has always been my favorite subject from a young age and the only thing I'm really positive about is that I want to pursue health care, preferably as a doctor. I do however realize that getting into medical school is difficult and as confident as I am that I'll be accepted somewhere, I want to have a secure career" fall-back-to" so that no matter what I do I make a good amount of money as well as enjoy whatever job I have.
For instance, if medical school doesn't work out, I would be happy pursing pharmacy, PA school or anything like it. But those all require application into professional school. I was considering doing a 5 year degree plan that would let me get a bachelors in bio and a masters in health care administration as well. However I wouldn't get the prereqs for med school that just a bachelors in biology gives. I've considered biomedical engineering, however the field doesn't interest me because I ultimately would rather work in the public sector.
So this being said, what would give me the best job security? should I stick with general bio and do all I can to get into medical school? What other degree paths can you all suggest give my situation? Thanks for the help.

Health care administration or a BSN.

keep in mind, ive heard some med schools frown on BSN, dont know how true it is though.

Medical school is not for everyone — I highly recommend the 5-year route; to which can bestow you with a widely-applicable job appeal offering multifarious alternatives in intimate and interactive work environments… unless; you are devoted to a research-based approach prompting a prioritization in the underlying mechanisms comprising the innate, interwoven biochemical operations latent in a physiologically-powered neuromolecular orchestration … i.e. biophysics
