Given these conditions…how long?

I really want to prepare and practice for the SAT, but my schedule prevents me from having a lot of free time. On average how long have you prepared for the SAT to break 2100? The last practice test I took before I took the Jan. test I scored a 2080, but I scored a 1600 on the January SAT. My parents think its due to test taking anxiety, but I'm not quite sure. I'm going to be a senior next year, and I want to reach for a 2200, but I usually score around 1800-190
0 on practice tests. I have most of summer to prepare, but how long do you think it will take me to start scoring in the 2100+ range?

it depends on how hard u work and on ur capabilities

It varies from person to person to be honest, as well as the amount of effort you put in. Sorry, but this is a question no one can answer accurately for you.

you can definitely do it…my unprepped first sat practice was 1780 at the beginning of august. With 1 90-min session a week w/ a tutor, and practice sections, I was scoring over 2200+ by november.

i got 2160 on the december sat, the anxiety got to me a little bit on the math sections… I took again in march and am hoping for 2200.

Thank you. That provides me with confidence and optimism. Everyone around me sees that I’m capable of attaining outstanding scores, but nervousness is my downfall.
