Hi,

Im a freshmen student and this is my first time giving PSAT. I only used the CD of NOVA's SAT Prep Book and the SAT UP App. After 37 tests, my average score is about 1630, and my major drop is reading, which is 440, and my writing is 620 for the past 5 tests, and my math is about 570. My parents and I, expect a 220 on the PSAT Tomorrow, and I am repeatedly doing these tests, but i am worried about my reading paper which is really hard for me, and the test is tomorrrow. I revised only this week, because I had a midterm break. My problem is the reading VOCAB. I just dont know 99% of the vocab

37 practice tests!!! holy **** man! Obviously you’re doing something wrong if you’ve done that many practice tests and aren’t improving. So maybe it’s time to reevaluate how you’re studying… and for vocab, make lots of flashcards using direct hits and hot words books.

The only thing you should do right now is to relax. Even if you make perfect score tomorrow, your score won’t count since you are a freshman.

After this test take a break from testing. Evaluate the tests you’ve taken to identify your weak areas in addition to vocab. Work on those areas before testing. After some extra work, go back to the old tests and make sure you fully understand every problem. You should take as long to review as you took to do the test and should be able to get an 800 on that particular test after your review.
