<p>About myself:</p>

<p>Mom is a single parent
Asian - Indian (male)
California Resident
Love business, computers, and film.
Will receive financial aid</p>

<p>Stats:
UNWEIGHTED GPA's</p>

<p>9th grade: 3.5 / 3.6 (no weighted classes)
10th grade: 3.6 / 3.8 (2 weighted classes - 2 B's first semester, 1 B second semester rest are A's)
11th grade: 3.3 / 3.5 (3 weighted classes - 3 A's 2 B's & 1 C first semester, 3 A's 3 B's second semester) - lots of family issues this year and a death in the family.</p>

<p>12th grade plans: 4 weighted classes, shooting for all A's.</p>

<p>Extra Curriculars: 1 year JV basketball, 3 years Varsity Golf, own my own business in which a portion of funds are donated to the school's technology dept., officer in DECA (went to international competition), president of a club, officer in engineering club, officer in film club, I have a youtube channel (want to pursue)</p>

<p>Over 500 service learning hours at a library, senior center, and carnivals and little things like that.</p>

<p>SAT I: 2130 (will retake in senior year again)
SAT II's: Haven't taken but shooting for high 700's and 800 on math 2.
ACT: Taking a course over summer to take in September</p>

<p>My #1 school is USC or UCLA</p>

<p>Some realistic goals in order are: UC San Diego, UC Irvine, NYU, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, Urbana Champagne, Georgia Tech or of course any other decent universities.</p>

<p>Possible majors: Business Admin, Finance, Computer Science, Film</p>

<p>Realistically, UCLA is probably out because of your gpa. USC tends to be more holistic, so I would say that you have a shot at it, especially with your decent SAT.
UCSD/davis are also a reach, irvine/sb more of a match. Don’t know about the others.</p>
